First of all, let’s talk about it: Are there ghosts in this world? Of course, do you need to say it? The entire "Ksitigarbha Sutra" is about ghosts. There are no ghosts. If Buddhism dares to make up such a big lie to deceive people, can it stand?

Who are easily susceptible to evil spirits?

 Mr. Nan Huaijin said: "Some people are unwilling to read the Ksitigarbha Sutra, thinking that it is a superstitious old woman. However, the Ksitigarbha Sutra is the most difficult to understand, so Lengyan Dayi Modern Explanation did not translate the section about hell in the sutra for fear of It’s hard for all living beings to believe it.” Mr. Nan said this. If the Ksitigarbha Sutra is a deception, then Mr. Nan is even more of a deceiver. Is it possible?

 Therefore, in this world, there are not only ghosts, but also demons and evil spirits. This scripture explains it in great detail. If you are interested, you can look it up yourself. This is a premise. You have to admit this fact, and then the question of "what kind of people are prone to evil spirits" can be established. If you don’t believe this, it’s impossible to talk about this.

Second question: What exactly is evil? What does the devil look like?

 Didn't a friend mention the problem of demons yesterday? Yesterday I answered, "Demons are afflictions, Buddhas are Bodhisattva, and when you see the Tao, they are the same." This is from the perspective of practice. Didn't go into too much depth. What is a demon? Confusion is the devil, enlightenment is the Buddha, evil is the devil, righteousness is the Buddha, delusion is the devil, and truth is the Buddha. This sentence is from a sexual perspective. From a physical perspective, does the devil have an image? Of course there is. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have images, and demons have images.

 What is the image of that devil? There are so many, everything you can think of and everything you can’t think of. Sun Wukong’s seventy-two transformations, we thought, wow, that’s amazing. This is a novel. For the convenience of description, in fact, there are more than seventy-two changes? It can be infinitely varied! Just like when you go to a temple and see Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with Thousand Arms and Thousand Eyes, you will be surprised that there are no Thousand Arms and Thousand Eyes, only dozens of hands at best. Yes, it’s not that there aren’t that many hands, it’s that it’s too troublesome for people to make so many hands. It’s not that Sun Wukong only has seventy-two transformations, but based on the actual number, it’s too strenuous.

 Therefore, demons can take any form. If you just think that the devil looks like the devil in the movie, then it can only be said that your imagination is too limited. Aren't you talking about evil spirits? Why are you talking about demons? The evil spirit is the devil, and the devil is the evil spirit. Just like what the Buddhists say, there is no difference among all living beings in the mind of the Buddha. In other words, there is no difference between the three kinds of demons and evil spirits. You can understand it this way.

 Where did the evil spirit come from? In the same way, it still comes from the twelve causes and conditions. Twelve causes and conditions: ignorance is related to formations, formations are related to consciousness, knowledge is related to name and form, name and form are related to the six senses, six senses are related to contact, contact is related to old age and death, old age and death are related to birth, life is related to existence, there is the nature of taking, taking is related to love, and love is related by. Demons and evil spirits arise from the thought of ignorance. It starts out as a thought, and the thought becomes Qi. When the Qi condenses in the body, it becomes a disease. When the Qi condenses outside the body, it becomes filth. When the filth gathers, it becomes a ghost. When ghosts are successful in cultivation, they become demons.

 This is no different from the formation of matter. From the smallest protons and electrons, they are aggregated into atoms and molecules, and then aggregated into objects. Different objects are formed according to different combination methods. Therefore, the second problem to be solved is that you must first let go of the inherent image of the devil in your heart. The devil is the incarnation of the Bodhisattva on the tenth level or above, almost close to the Buddha. The outside is small and has no inside, and it can be any kind of image. But, is there a way to identify it? Yes, as mentioned before, confusion is the devil, enlightenment is the Buddha, evil is the devil, righteousness is the Buddha, delusion is the devil, and truth is the Buddha. Using this standard, it is easy to see the devil.

 Some people always like to argue. You said there is a ghost in the world. Where is it? let me see. For this kind of people, just laugh it off and don't have to fight. Where is the ghost? If you go to the hospital, it will be full of ghosts. If you go to the street, there will be a lot of ghosts walking around. So, is hell real or fake? Of course it is true and does not conflict with what is said here. Of course, this is another topic, and it becomes complicated once you talk about it. As Mr. Nan Huaijin said, this is difficult to understand. If you really understand this, you can become enlightened.

 Let’s get down to business. Although what I said before is long-winded, it is the premise and foundation. If I don’t explain this clearly, I won’t be able to explain the rest. What kind of person is prone to evil spirits? It's too easy to talk about it at this time. Didn't I already talk about it before, where do demons and evil spirits come from? It comes from that single thought of ignorance. What is this single thought of ignorance? They are evil thoughts and delusions. If you expand it further, they are greed, anger and delusion. If you expand it further, they are anger, resentment and annoyance. As long as you have these things in your body, evil spirits will easily get into your body, or have already got into your body.

 Our heart is like a house, so it is called the atrium. Many people dream about houses in their dreams. In most cases, this house is a symbol of their own heart. If a person's thoughts are righteous, then the house will be strong and safe, and the person will be healthy. Evil thoughts are like gaps or holes in the wall. As soon as a person has evil thoughts, the house will begin to have cracks. When a person becomes angry, resentful and troubled, the holes will become bigger. Some people say that he hates someone to the core of his heart, which means that, There is already a big hole in his heart. If there is a hole in the room, the external evil will come in. What is the external evil? External evils are evil spirits, ghosts, or demons.

 Don’t forget that sentence, all things are manifested by the mind, and everything is inspired by oneself. In today’s terms, it is the law of attraction, and everything is attracted by oneself. Nothing comes without a reason. Some people are afraid of ghosts, that's because there are ghosts in their hearts. A person with high virtues, ghosts and gods, who is upright and has high moral character. It is not he who is afraid of ghosts, but ghosts who are afraid of him. Wherever he goes, his body shines. Ghosts will run away when they see them far away. How can he see ghosts? 

Most of the above talked about the self and the inside, so what about the external evil spirits?

 There are many types of evil spirits outside. The most common ones are ghosts, and there are two types of ghosts, one is enemies and creditors from the past, and the other is wandering ghosts. The second type is immortals. Immortals are yellow and white Liuchang, weasels, snake spirits and the like. These are the common ones. As for what kind of demons are there, most people cannot see them at all unless they reach that level. Just like you want to meet the underworld boss, how can you meet him casually?

 The evil spirits outside are all caused by oneself. As long as one's thoughts are not correct, the evil spirits outside will take hold. Depending on the degree of greed, anger, stupidity, suspicion, anger, resentment, and worry, the evil spirits attracted are different. The mild ones attract evil spirits, while the severe ones attract demons, ghosts, and immortals.

 Those in the Northeast are immortals, so they often say that if there is a domestic immortal in the family, they are actually snake spirits, weasel spirits and the like. Of course, there are also a kind of family immortals, who are the ancestors of their own family. They have a certain level of cultivation and have become ghost-like beings. Of course, there is also an immortal who has very good cultivation and is similar to a god. So, the girl said last time that it is not good to be possessed by an immortal. I said, not necessarily. It is because of this. The situation is complicated and cannot be Generalize

 It is necessary to talk about illness again. Where did the disease come from? In the same way, it also arises from thoughts. Of course, this thought is an impure thought, an evil thought, a distracting thought, and a delusional thought. It means anger, resentment, and annoyance. When thoughts arise, qi forms. When thoughts are heavy, qi accumulates. When qi accumulates, it manifests itself as pain. If the qi accumulates again, it becomes inflammation. If it is more serious, it will become a tumor. Even more serious, it will be cancer.

 So, last time a friend argued that he believed in scientific treatment of cancer. To be honest, I disdain this scientific approach. This is another topic that we will discuss when we have time. Science has not yet clearly explained one thing, why tumors can still proliferate after being removed, but my explanation is very simple, because the patient's thoughts are not broken!

 The diseases mentioned above are caused internally. After external evils take over the body, they also appear in the form of symptoms on the body. Wherever it is attached, it is uncomfortable. This disease is sometimes very serious. When you go to the hospital for examination, nothing can be found, let alone a cure.

 What kind of person is easily attracted to evil spirits? I think I've made it clear. One is that evil spirits are self-generated, caused by one's own evil thoughts. On the other hand, when you have evil thoughts and evil spirits in your body, the evil spirits from outside will catch up with you. What should you do after evil spirits take over? Here, let’s rule out the fairy situation first, that is an independent topic.

 It seems that it cannot be ruled out, so let’s briefly talk about it. That kind of immortal upper body wants to use the body to practice. Generally speaking, there is no way or choice. It cannot shirk whomever it chooses. It's very difficult to put it down. One is to ask someone higher than this immortal to ask it to leave. The other is to practice Buddhism and borrow the blessings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, so that it can survive. Of course, these so-called immortals are not all bad. Some of their Taoism and cultivation are very good. Again, it cannot be generalized, it is too complicated.

When evil spirits take hold, the most common situation is when enemies and creditors from the past life come to visit.

 In the Tang Dynasty, there was Master Wuda. When he first started practicing, he met a strange monk in Chang'an. The monk was suffering from leprosy. Everyone was disgusted and unwilling to approach him. Only Master Wuda took good care of the strange monk. The strange monk said, if you encounter any disaster in the future, you can come to Chalong Mountain in Pengzhou, Western Shu to find me. Master Wuda was later respected by Emperor Yizong of Tang Dynasty and was regarded as a national teacher. When he arrived at Emperor Xizong of the Tang Dynasty, a facial sore suddenly appeared on his left buttock, causing great pain. He remembered the words of the strange monk and went to look for it. After finding the strange monk, the strange monk said that just wash the small things with spring water.

 When Master Wuda was washing with water, the man-faced sore suddenly said: You have read a lot. I think you have read the biographies of Yuan Ang and Chao Cuo in the Western Han Dynasty. In your previous life, you were Yuan Ang, and Chao Cuo was me. At that time, Just because you spoke to Emperor Jing, I was cut in half in Dongshi. I have such a deep hatred that I have spent all my life seeking opportunities for revenge. But because you have been an eminent monk for ten lifetimes and have strictly followed the precepts, I have no chance of revenge. This time, because you were overly favored by the emperor, you were tempted by fame and wealth, and suffered some moral losses, so I was able to get close to you to seek revenge. Now that Venerable Kanojia (incarnated as a sick monk) has given me Samadhi Dharma water to liberate me, our long-standing grudge has come to an end!

 After hearing this, Master Wuda couldn't help but tremble with fear. He quickly poured water and washed it. The pain in his bones was so intense that he fainted and fell to the ground. After waking up, I found that the facial sores were gone. When I looked back at the magnificent hall, there was no trace of it. Later, Grand Master Wuda practiced cultivation in that place and never left the mountain again. The famous "Samadhi Water Repentance" was later passed down by Grand Master Wuda.

 If you read this story carefully, you can learn a lot. I could list a lot more stories like this, but that would make this topic too long, so I’ll stop here.

Therefore, no disease is acquired without reason. No matter what kind of disease it is, it is basically caused by one's own evil thoughts. This has been discussed before. When you get sick, one solution is to ask an expert, but there are not so many experts. Besides, even if an expert comes to you, you may not recognize him. When that strange monk was in Chang'an, many people approached him, but the only one who formed a bond with the strange monk was Master Wuda. Ask yourself, can you do what Master Wuda did to the strange monk? If you can't do that, how can you meet an expert?

 An expert will not show up easily, and an expert will not help you easily. Tang Monk went to the West to study Buddhist scriptures. Kassapa and Ananda asked him for personal matters. Old Man Huangshi wanted to teach Zhang Liang the art of war, and even deliberately threw his shoe at him. Zhang Liang was asked to pick it up under the bridge. Kong Ming wanted to protect Liu Bei but had to ask him three times. There is a profound truth in this. Let’s slowly understand it.

 It’s not easy to meet an expert. Wouldn’t that be very disappointing? No need to. Master Wuda is already telling the world what to do in this way. This is his skillful method. In addition, Master Wuda also compiled a "Three Flavors Water Repentance Method", which is specially designed to resolve past grievances and diagnose and treat strange diseases. If you practice this method, as long as you have integrity, it will definitely be effective!
